099 - Must Elijah Come First

Overview - Must Elijah come first. Matthew chapter 17 verses 6-13. We opened up our sermon today talking about the love that Christ brought, verses the powerful and sometimes scary voice of God which spoke from the cloud, that the disciples feared. Jesus Christ was indeed the embodiment of the Love of God to mankind. We then looked at the statement by the disciples to Jesus, about the fact that Elijah was supposed to come before Him. Yet Elijah had not come before Christ. Is Jesus really the Jewish promised Messiah? Why didn't Elijah come before Jesus did if Jesus was the Christ?
