Tithe A tenth of the produce of the earth consecrated and set apart for special purposes. The dedication of a tenth to God was recognized as a duty before the time of Moses. Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek ( Genesis 14:20 ; Hebrews 7:6 ); and Jacob vowed unto the Lord and said, "Of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee." I on the other am more of at give back type of guy. Not to a church, but to my patients, friends, family and community. I do believe that when you give, you get back 10-100 fold. How is it that you give back and keep yourself open to the abundance that the universe has in store for us all? Dr. Carey
