Frank Gariglio works with a team at Idaho Power to manage weather and water forecasting. Idaho leads the nation in percentage of power derived by hydrodams, typically generating around 50% of Idaho’s in-state power from these sources. Water forecasts, therefore, mean power supply forecasts. Frank came on to explain what Idaho Power sees in our near future and what management looks like.
