1: 1 - The F/V Investor Murders
from Murder under the Midnight Sun · host Murder under the Midnight Sun
September 7, 1982 was a foggy morning in the harbor of Craig, AK. It was a Monday, on one of the last days of the fishing season, and there were around 150 boats in the area hoping to get one last good haul for the season. When the fog cleared Tuesday afternoon, fishermen in the harbor were surprised to see that the large expensive seiner F/V Investor was still anchored in the same place it had been spotted 24 hours prior. What's more, the boat appeared to be on fire. The discoveries made on the boat that day would lead to the longest and most expensive murder investigation and trial in Alaskan history.
