1.15.2023 "Upside Down Kingdom: The Grace of God"

This week we begin a new sermon series called "Upside Down Kingdom" based on the first few chapters of 1 Corinthians. In these 6 weeks, we will learn how the Kingdom of God is Upside Down. It's a different reality. We see the world in a whole different way when we're part of God's Kingdom. In this first week, Pastor Aaron preaches on, probably, the MOST upside down thing about the Kingdom of God and it is the grace of God that we receive in Jesus Christ. But - what is Grace? You hear about it a lot. In this sermon, Pastor Aaron, defines for us what the Biblical concept of grace is all about, and he compares and contrasts it with the idea of Karma which is a core tenet of other world religions, but also a popular concept in western cultures as well. In the end, you'll learn that Karma is not Biblical, nor is it even a concept that you would want to be true. But - Grace is the best gift we could ever receive!
