In Today's Show As Catholics, how do we properly understand "turning the other cheek?" My wife prefers the Novus Ordo and I prefer TLM so we split our time between both at separate churches. Is it ok for us to register as parishioners at both? I had an abortion at age 23. I confessed that sin and others when I was around 34. My question is, if I wasn't recommunicated the first time, was my confession then, and others after it, invalid? Should I make a general confession? When a host falls on the ground, the priest quickly picks it up and consumes it. It bothers me that there isn't more care at the moment in clearing the area. What can I do as a prayer in reparation for this? I was watching a podcast and apparently the Archbishop of Maceio, Brazil has said he would excommunicate Catholics who attend the Traditional Latin Mass.
