Pascale Escarfail, Cathy Rocher, Elsa Benady, Agnès Nijkamp, Hélène Frinking, Magali Sirotti et Estelle Magd sont violées avant d’être sauvagement tuées à coups de couteau. L’enquête piétine et celui que l’on surnomme « le tueur de l’est parisien », continue de sévir. Dans les bureaux du 36 quai des Orfèvres, la tension monte d’un cran. Pourtant, les inspecteurs de la brigade criminelle ont bien en leur possession l’ADN du tueur, qu’ils ont pu retrouver sur plusieurs scènes de crime.
