It could be a sign of things to come, as republicans prepare to turn up the heat on President Biden. Turning to the war in Ukraine, Russia launched a new wave of drone attacks overnight, after strikes on cities killed three civilians on New Year's Eve. These attacks come as bitter fighting continues in some areas of the country, after recent Ukrainian successes on the battlefield. At the Vatican, it's a day of mourning for Pope Benedict XVI, who died on Saturday at age 95. Thousands filed past the Pope Emeritus' body, as it lay in state at St. Peter's Basilica. He will be buried by his successor, Pope Francis, on Thursday.
