During this week of prayer for Christian unity, we must reject the complacency and triumphalism that often lead us to ignore the tragedy of a divided body of Christ. While we hold the fullness of the faith, we are called to follow Christ’s example by prioritizing charity and building bridges of understanding with others rather than simply "slamming the door".
