Fr. Anthony Amato is the Pastor of St. Peter's Parish in Clifton Springs, New York. He was ordained as a priest in June of 2017 by Bishop Salvatore Matano of the Diocese of Rochester, New York.   In Today's Show: Our pastor recently appointed new parish trustees for our church. Could you describe what the role of parish trustees is? I pray daily that my stepdaughters will come to love Jesus and the one true church he created. I pray that they will live the faith that my husband raised them with. Are my prayers any more efficacious than prayers from a stranger because of my position as their stepmother? Has the church historically taken a stance on the idea of women serving in politics and other positions of leadership and authority? How would you recommend dealing with a parent who is overly controlling, especially in their children's dating lives?   Who did you pick as your Confirmation saint and why? If an ordinary person suspects that he or she is talking to someone who is possessed, what is that ordinary person to do? How do we react, and how should we talk to the person?
