1.24) Talking with Rhiannon Fensom - PTSD, Anxiety, Mental Health and more

from Talk About It · host Amelhyne

This is a very special episode for me. This episode is dedicated to anyone suffering and going through a dark time right now. I'm proud of you for being here. Enjoy this episode and know there are so many people working to destigmatize mental health. Never think you're alone. You're always welcome here.  This week I am joined by my very first Australian guest Rhiannon Fensom [@rhiannonfensom_]. Rhiannon discusses her mental health journey and her advice to others about battling anxiety and depression. We talk about the people we know and have lost to suicide, what PTSD is and so much more about mental health, from one side of the world to another. This time last year, two teens in my local area both took their own lives, both within a few weeks of each other. It was then that I came up with the idea for this very podcast. And what a journey it has been. This very podcast was only an idea last year, and we have now reached over 700 people in 7 different countries...which is beyond outstanding for me. Thank you to everyone who has listened to this point...there is so much to come.  This week's talented young musician is Leah Moran - the original song 'Sense of 17'.
