In choosing a new speaker of the House, Lawmakers adjourned yesterday after Republicans refused to unite behind California Congressman Kevin McCarthy. In three consecutive votes, McCarthy failed to get the support he needs to become speaker. Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin remains hospitalized after collapsing during Monday night's game against the Bengals. Hamlin is still in critical condition. The Bills said he suffered a cardiac arrest after tackling Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. The show of support for Damar Hamlin has spread far beyond football. In buffalo, Bills' fans and community members have been gathering to offer prayers and well-wishes to Hamlin. The FDA has cleared the way for pharmacies to dispense abortion pills directly to patients in states where they are legal. The new rules, released yesterday, will allow certified pharmacies to distribute both pills used in a two-drug medication abortion, to patients with a prescription. The former crypto-mogul, Sam Bankman-Fried, has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including defrauding investors out of billions of dollars. He faces eight counts of fraud, money laundering and other financial crimes. Actor Jeremy Renner is sharing the first photo of himself after he was seriously injured in a snow plowing accident over the weekend. He wants everyone to know he's okay.
