Psalm 6 is written by David who is suffering at the hands of his enemies. His prayer provides a path to confidence with God, despite our circumstances. 1. Because God answers prayer, I can have confidence in God despite of my neediness. 2. Because God has a good purpose for me in my enemies, I can be confident in God despite my defeats. Because God disciplined Christ with his wrath, I can be confident in Christ that I won’t be.
