1/5/26 - The Constitution and War: Who Holds the Power?

On Monday’s Mark Levin Show, Mark announces plans for a new independent video podcast called "Liberty's Voice," aiming to launch it in the coming weeks, four days a week for about 30 minutes each in the morning. Video podcasting has taken a dark, hateful turn, filled with vile, racist, bigoted, and filthy content. This show will be clean, while demonstrating love for the country, defending capitalism, freedom, hard work, merit, and success. Also, Venezuela operates as the world's largest drug narco hub after Communist China and was emerging as an intelligence and potential military base in the Western Hemisphere for China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran, while nationalizing U.S. oil companies. President Trump's decisive actions exemplify great leadership as commander-in-chief, exposing critics like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, their cabal, the Democrat Party, Marxist Islamists in major financial centers, and protesters funded by China, Soros, and other adversaries, all rooting for the enemy.  Later, the Constitution grants Congress the power to declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water, while the President oversees foreign policy, creating some conflict but overwhelmingly favoring presidential war-making authority. During the Constitutional Convention, the Committee of Detail's initial draft assigned Congress the power to "make" war, differing from the Articles of Confederation and sparking debate.
