The Supreme Court will hear the case in which the American Humanists sued Bladensburg, Maryland, demanding they take down a cross erected in honor of 49 Bladensburg men who lost their lives in WWI. December 19th of 2018, Mountain States Legal Foundation (mountainstateslegal.org) filed an amicus brief urging the United States Supreme Court to uphold the right of communities to build and maintain war memorials that include crosses.
