1,777 Coffee Review | Poor Richard's Brew

Join me in this episode of the Multifamily Collective as I dive into a coffee review brewing for a while! I recently received a special gift from Sharon Cauthen, co-host of the popular podcast "8 Stories." She gifted me a Poor Richard's Brew bag from the Old City Coffee Establishment in Philadelphia. Inspired by Benjamin Franklin's famous pseudonym, this blend intrigued me. I prepared it using my favorite French press method, which, though a bit more time-consuming, always delivers a rich flavor. Here's my take: Poor Richard's Brew is incredibly smooth with no acidic bite. The beans, a light shade of brown, suggest a light roast. While it doesn't have a standout flavor, it’s a comforting cup I'd enjoy as a decaf nightcap or a post-lunch treat. I’d rate it a solid 6.5 out of 10 cups. It’s good but not a must-have.
