Proper. Is an afropunk band from Brooklyn, NY. Annie and Rose are joined by frontman, Erik Garlington, to talk about his experiences growing up a bisexual, black, atheist in the bible belt and how it’s shaped his music. Caveat! We recorded this before the pandemic. So please note, we are all social distancing and not encouraging folks to go out to venues etc. We ARE encouraging you to support Proper. and other local, queer, BIPOC artists however you can (like, follows, buying merch, donations). Follow Proper. on all the things!
