Short version of Shane Cronley's work history. -Born and raised on a small farm in Ohio with my parents and two older brothers. -Graduated high school 1996 -Worked at a nursing home for a few months then a forklift operator at a transmission plant. 96-97 -Obtained my EMT cert in February of 1997 -Joined the Air Force in May 1997 -Air force boot camp from May to June 1997 -Air Force Firefighter school in San Angelo TX June to October -Stationed in the states from 97-99 -Stationed in Japan from 99-01 -Civilian firefighter 02-03 -Contract firefighter in Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan 03-04 -Ran his own home remodeling business from 04-06 because I needed a break from the fire department. -Contract firefighter in kuwait from 2006-2011 - Fire inspector in the states. 2011-2014 - Firefighter 2014-2016 - Medically retired in 2017 due to Rheumatoid Arthritis, degenerative disc disease, muscle atrophy and osteoporosis. I talk about that issue in my book “The Man with Rheumatoid Arthritis” .
