#1. Alan Foulis - Dark Performance Apparel

from Outcome Podcast · host Matt Schiff

"It is in Dark places that we learn who we are. Our journeys to athletic greatness take us on different paths. These paths are hard. These paths are painful. These paths are lonely. These paths require decisions." - Alan Foulis Alan Foulis (@alanf7), is the co-founder of a proudly South African garment company called Dark Performance Apparel and top level competitive CrossFit athlete that knows Dark places.  Through this first release of the Outcome Podcast Episode #1 we chat about his journey through being a dad, pro CrossFit athlete, coach, business owner and doughnut-oholic. I really enjoyed this conversation with Alan as it was coming from a place of friendship and familiarity, although this time it was outside the CrossFit box. Reliving certain setbacks and uncovering how they had turned into a means of inspiration and personal motivation for him was chilling to hear. I hope that the same happens with you. "Through certain injuries and pain on his path to athletic greatness in Europe, North America and Australia, time revealed the need for a partner, a partner unlike any other." Which was when Dark Performance Apparel was born. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Make sure to subscribe on all socials for new content!
