#1 Carly Hager [Redemption and Hope]

from Girls Talking Life · host Yohonna Smith

Carly Hager joins me on the show today to share her story of redemption and hope. Carly is a newlywed, a mom, a step mom and a nurse. She also has a huge heart of service, especially for women. Carly is a recovering addict from drugs and alcohol, who turned her life around when she decided that she deserved better for herself. She has since gone on to create an outreach that shows women on the streets of Columbus that they deserve better too. Carly is the founder of Reaching for the Shining Startz, an organization that assembles and delivers hygiene bags to women on the street. The outreach team uses relationships and consistency to show the women they encounter that they're loved and that there's a different way to live. Carly shares her struggles as a mom and how special it was to take her daughter to the dentist.
