1 Corinthians: The Resurrection and Giving (Chapters 15-16)
from The Gospel of Christ-TGOC · host The Gospel of Christ
“Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Welcome to our study of the book of 1 Corinthians. In this lesson, we're going to be studying 1 Corinthians chapter 15 and the closing words of Paul in chapter 16 as well. We want to encourage you to locate your Bible and have it ready to use as we're going to look to the Word of God for all of our study today. In 1 Corinthians chapters 15 and 16, Paul is now going to discuss two major ideas. In chapter 15, the heart and core of what he's going to say deals with the resurrection. Some were denying that and he's dealing with this problem by showing the importance of the resurrection. Then in chapter 16, he will talk about giving as a Christian and some concluding thoughts that occur there as well. (The full transcript is available in the "Download Document" button above.)
