Deborah Monfils studeerde geneeskunde en werkte als voedingscoach. Recent schreef ze het boek ‘Gemaakt tot Gods eer’, een zelfhulp boek voor christelijke vrouwen over zelfbeeld en lichaamsbeeld. Deborah hoopte al ruim vijf jaar op een tweede kindje toen ze zwanger werd. Maar met 22 weken zwangerschap gebeurde het ondenkbare; ze kreeg borstkanker. Een moeilijke periode brak aan, waarin ze chemo moest ondergaan én corona kreeg.
