I had the opportunity to chat with one of the biggest owners of veterinary groups in the UK and Australia, Dr. Dave Nicol. This individual has published three books, hosts podcasts, and even founded Vetx, a global mentoring community to help vets work together and enjoy their lives. We talked about why the veterinary business is booming today but people are breaking and how to maintain enthusiasm in this field. We learned about how the people you work with and listen to influences your behavior, leading to why 'having good mentor matters'.
