1 John #10 - Confidence in Christ

Prayer can feel unanswered, and personal desires can narrow attention until God’s purpose disappears from view. Yet 1 John 5 grounds confidence in prayer, understanding and trust. God hears requests according to His will, helps His children see clearly, and protects them as they turn from ongoing sin. They are not sinless, but Christ forgives them, and gratitude for His love changes their attitude towards sin.
