1 John #3 - Family in Faith

Like a family meeting, John gathers Christians at different stages of faith around truths each needs. Mature Christians know God through years of walking with Him, so their lived wisdom should guide and comfort others without pride. Younger Christians have strength for spiritual battle because God's word lives in them, and Jesus has overcome Satan on their behalf. Those new to faith need the deepest basics: their sins are forgiven through Jesus, and God receives them with a Father's love. Every stage has a place and purpose in His family.
