1 John: God is Love

"He who does not love, does not know God for God is love," 1 John 4:8.Welcome to our second part in the study of 1 John. In this lesson, we're thinking about God as the source of love, and how Christians must walk in and live that type of love in their life every day. As we think about this powerful and encouraging message: God is love-that ought to lift our spirits to know the type of God we serve is the essence of what love is all. Everybody wants to be loved. We want to give that love to others. All of that stems from God, who is the true source of love. Look at God's amazing love demonstrated for you in 1 John 3:1 the Bible says, "Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we can be called children of God.”(The full transcript is available in the "Download Document" button above.)
