1 John, Week 7, 2:28-3:10

In the seventh week of our 1 John Study Pastor LeeWood explains how John is starting to apply all three of his tests (obedience, love, doctrine) and how he begins to mix them together in our section. We will see why John reaches forward to the Second Coming of Christ in the closing portion of chapter 2 to explain how we can be blessed because of our abiding in Christ. Additionally, we looked at how John looks backward to Christ's first coming to explain what it was the Christ accomplished for us then.
