First Solmon’s 5 part palace included a forest of lebanon building. This building wasn’t in Lebanon as it sounds, but in Jerusalem. It was a courtyard made with many pillars resembling a forest. Along with this and 4 other incredible buildings it took twice as long to build as the Lord’s temple. And all overlaid with gold. NO matter that in the Law, in Deut 17:17, it said kings should not accumulate “too much gold.”Solomon spent significantly more time and money on his own palace than the Lord’s house. If the Lord’s house was a 100 billion dollar project - what we have here is something on the grand scale of Egyptian like pyramidical construction. With Pharaoh’s daughter onside this makes sense. The temple furnishings are elaborate too, including two bronze pillars which are given names.The freemasons took a hold of much temple language and features and worked it into freemasonry. The two pillars are Jachin - he establishes, and Boaz - he is mighty. Boaz is also an ancestor of David & Solomon. THe most interesting of all the temple furnishing is the brass sea. It is described as being 30 cubits around, but also as being ten cubits across.A rudimentary calculation of pi here only gives 3.0 instead of 3.1428 as we would expect from our primary school mathematics. But there is something else going on. This video will explain the maths behind the brass sea, and how it is a possible indication of how big the handspan of the measurer was.
