1 Kings - Can Man's Heart Really Rule? - Look at the Book

There are some things we can learn about having the right heart and mind in order to further God's plan and not become a stumbling block. You really only have three options: Lead, follow, or get out of the way. 1 Kings gives us some practical advice to succeed, even though we don't have the wisdom of Solomon, in spite of our deceitful and sick hearts.  Young people, Solomon's life sets a bar for us to evaluate not only his reign and influence, but also the rest of the kings described in the book, as well as our own life. I believe this is revealed in the three appearances of the Lord to Solomon. This is what we will cover today.
