The world we live in is full of uncertainty, whether in current events casting a shadow over our politics, the people in our lives who let us down, and more. For some, the hopelessness leads them to just focus on the present and try to have some fun to help them forget how hard it is. But simply numbing the pain is not the way of Jesus.
