Pastor Lowell Nelson teaches about 1 Samuel 24: 3-4 "Misleading and Misinterpreting Signs" on 10/1/2023 for our Sunday Service. 1 Samuel 24: 3-4 David Spares Saul's Life 3 So he came to the sheepfolds by the road, where there was a cave; and Saul went in to attend to his needs. ( David and his men were staying in the recesses of the cave.) 4 Then the men of David said to him, "This is the day of which the LORD said to you, 'Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, that you may do to him as it seems good to you.' " And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul's robe. As Saul is perusing David through the wilderness of En Geni, he goes into a cave alone. This just happens to be the cave that David and his men are hiding in. David's men believe this is a sign from God to have David kill Saul. David chooses to allow his spirit to a line with the Spirit of God and His word.
