This sermon on 1 Samuel 3:1-10 was preached on January 14, 2024, by Pastor Tim Walsh.In this message, we're introduced to an important, but relatively unknown, figure in Biblical history. Samuel was used by God to turn God's people back to God's Word. Samuel also served to lead Israel in their transition to a monarchy. In all of the events of Samuel's life, we see God's grace - his gift-giving, undeserved love - at work. God's people did not deserve to have his Word brought freshly to them. The y did not deserve new leaders. Nor do we!
