In this week’s lesson from 1 Samuel 28:1-9, we read about how Saul continues to be out of God’s will when he desperately looks for a witch to give him direction. I do not believe it is a coincidence that we are reading about Saul going to a witch on a week that the world will be celebrating Halloween.Therefore I felt to define some terms associated with occult practices in this lesson such as: medium, divination, sorcery, witchcraft, spiritualist, necromancy, etc.At the end of this video, for those who may have dabbled in the occult, we did a renunciation prayer written by Prayer Waves in Prayer as follows: Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ.I renounce Satan and every evil influence he has had on me.I reject his works, his lies, and all the ways in which he seeks to lead me away from You.By the power of the Holy Spirit, I cut every tie that binds me to the powers of darkness.I claim Your victory over all sin and evil in my life and declare myself free by the Blood of the Lamb.Come, Holy Spirit, fill my heart with your peace, love, and holiness.In Jesus ’ name, Amen.#christian #foryou #foryoupage #occult #witch #saul #david #biblestudy #oldtestament @readingthroughthebiblewith3242
