1 Samuel Chapters 7 through 9, Luke Chapter 13:1-21

In this episode of Finding His Voice the Israelite Nations beg Samuel to find them a king. He warns them of how the king will treat them, but they don't care. Saul is chosen as the first king to lead the Nations. Jesus tells a parable of how a certain man had a fit tree planted in his vineyard. For three years the tree never bore fruit and the man asked the caretaker to remove the tree. The caretaker asked that the man wait just one more year, and if the tree still bears no fruit, the the man can remove the tree himself.
