Betsye Violette is the Associate Director of Student Services at Cornell Prison Education Program (CPEP) and a PhD Candidate at Cornell University. CPEP provides high quality higher education in New York State prisons that helps CPEP students build meaningful lives inside prison as well as prepare for successful re-entry into civic life.
