Evangelism is telling others about Jesus. And it’s more than just mentioning His name – if people are to be saved, then they need to know who Jesus is, what He did for each and every person, and why. The Apostle Paul expressed a burning heart to share the message of Jesus with those whom he said were groping about in darkness. In the book of Acts, Paul is "troubled" as he walks through Athens and observes the "idols" that are spread throughout the city. A sign of the searching of mankind to find fulfillment. Today the "death throes" of the human condition are apparent all around us; the violence, despair, and hopelessness we observe are all symptoms of the emptiness and darkness that we feel in our hearts. It reveals a void that only the hope and the salvation of God through Jesus Christ can fill.
