1. The Pineapple Story
from The Pineapple Story Series Hosted by Otto Koning
A firsthand account of how God used a pineapple garden in the jungles of Papua New Guinea to teach an angry missionary the unexpected results of obeying Luke 14:33: “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” The Pineapple Story is a best-loved classic. How was it possible that a pineapple garden and a village full of thieves were used of God to instruct a missionary in Biblical principles? Join Otto Koning as he unfolds the hard-earned lessons he learned in Irian Jaya about surrendering rights and conquering anger. His humorous yet profound message bears witness to the power of lordship and explains how each area of life and everything we own must be wholly yielded to Christ before we can effectively make disciples for the kingdom of God. Scripture references: Psalm 55:22, Matthew 11:28-30, Matthew 16:24, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Galatians 5:1, Philippians 4:6-7, 1 John 1:9 Transcript options: Read along on website Download PDF file Download TXT file
