Matthew 13:1-23 The Storytelling Savior: Parables from the Gospel of Matthew • Jesus often taught using parables: stories which strikingly illustrate truths about the kingdom of God. Through these stories, he helps us to understand the nature of salvation, life as a Christian, and how to reach out in witness to the world. As we listen at the feet of Jesus, we seek to develop ears to hear and eyes to see truth, and to apply what is beautiful, life-giving, and fruitful.
