1 Timothy 4:11-16 // A Pastor Faithful in the Faith // Omi Belcher

This past Sunday, while Pastor Taylor and his family were away, our own Omi Belcher faithfully opened God’s Word and preached from 1 Timothy 4:11-16.In this passage, the Apostle Paul reminds Timothy that a pastor’s faithfulness is measured not by his age, personality, or popularity, but by his devotion to sound doctrine, his example of godliness, his commitment to the ministry of the Word, and his perseverance in the faith.We are thankful for Omi’s willingness to serve our church and for the careful, Christ-centered way he handled the Scriptures. It is a tremendous blessing to have men within our congregation who love God’s Word and are growing in their ability to teach it faithfully.
