#1 Washington D.C. Based Standup Comedians' Shenanigans 我在美国摆龙门阵

from He's Podcast · host Huang He

Three awesome DMV comedians in this episode are (then status): Fernando was a Dominican American who moved to the States when he was a teenager; Tristan was from South Africa but had lived in the UK for a long time then moved to the States for his lovely American wife and now very active in standup comedy; and our funny bilingual comedian Vanessa who was from Cameroon, worked as a threpist. She lived in Baltimore with her boyfriend. All of us are doing standup comedy and trying to improve and grow as comedians to represent our voices and break stereotype. We touched upon a lot of edgy issues such as racial topics, gender topics, immigrant comedians' perspectives and life as a comedian in general.  The vibe and chemistry of this episode is just fabulous.  I listened to this episode many times and it just brings me so much life and laughters.  I hope it will light up your day as well. xoxo He
