The Ball State Cardinals took down the Ohio Bobcats to earn their first conference win of the young season Saturday afternoon and Mark Forester of WMUN in Muncie joins the show to break down the result Mark gives insight into how the Cardinals righted the ship on their season and how they shut down Ohio quarterback Parker Navarro. Next, Tony East of Locked on Pacers and Forbes sports hops on IST to recap the end of the Indiana Fever’s playoff run as they fell this week to the Las Vegas Aces. Tony shares his thoughts on the way head coach Stephanie White was able to galvanize the team and also compares the run to the Pacers run earlier in the season. Furthermore, Tony gives his take on the collective bargaining negotiations in the WNBA and previews the Pacers preseason opener. Finally, Rob Blackman of the Purdue global network is here to give his take on the Boilermakers, giving Illinois everything they wanted Saturday afternoon in a close loss. The defense struggled to contain the Fighting Illini offense all afternoon, so Blackman relays head coach Barry Odom’s comments on the performance and gives a preview of the upcoming Purdue basketball team. Lastly, Rose-Hulman got a homecoming win over Hanover Saturday.
