In 2015, 350 Americans died in mass shootings while 38,300 died in car accidents. You are up to 110 times more likely to die in your car on your way to work than you are to be involved in a mass shooting. Despite how driving fatalities dwarf mass shooting deaths, most of us never think twice about getting behind the wheel. It is such a mundane activity that for some of us, driving isn't even top priority WHILE we're driving!
