10,000 Public Servants on Strike Tomorrow : 8 September, 2026

The Public Service Association has organised a major nationwide strike for tomorrow, on Wednesday the 9th September, which will include over 10,000 public servants from a range of government departments and ministries. They are, among other things, calling for better pay and working conditions.  Wire producer Liam spoke with Duane Leo, the National Secretary of the Public Service Association, about what these strikes will look like and why they are going ahead.
