It’s the start of hour number two here on Network Indiana’s Indiana Sports Talk, Coach Bob Lovell and Brendan King are joined by John Herrick who had the call of the Purdue vs IU football game today in West Lafayette. John and Coach talk about the disappointment today for IU football. They go on to talk about the Hoosier basketball team and how they have looked so far this year. What will the matchup look like tomorrow against Harvard. Next on IST, Greg Rakestraw joins the show to talk the 6A State Championship tonight in which Ben Davis routed Crown Point 38-10. Ben Davis had maybe the toughest path to Lucas Oil Stadium tonight, but Rakestraw thinks it helped them pull off a great title. Rakestraw also called the 4A title game earlier today, which was East Central and Northwood. Rakestraw explains how impressive East Central’s season was who went 15-0 and played outstanding in the biggest game of the year. After that on IST, Rick Johnson, who called the IUPUI Jaguars basketball game today with Coach Bob Lovell. Coach and Rick talk about how it was a fun game to call and how they were surprised by the outcome. Dr. Len Clark calls Coach to discuss the Notre Dame Fighting Irish’s big win over Stanford tonight. Next up, Mark Jaynes, voice of the Indianapolis 500 joins Coach in talking some High School football. He called the Ben Davis and Crown Point 6A game. Coach and Mark discuss how fun the game was. Jevin Redman joins the show to finish the hour, discussing the Evansville and Southwest Missouri State basketball game from today.
