10/05/25 - Pastor Bryan Roberts - Living Stones, Holy Priests

Living Stones, Holy Priests 1 Peter 2:1-5 NIV 2 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I. Therefore II. Crave Like Babies Crave Ps. 42:1 NKJV “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.” As Babies You Will Not Grow Without The Word III. Living Stones IV. A Holy Priesthood As Priests: 1) We Can Stand Before God 2) We Are Obligated To Live Holy Lives 3) We Are To Offer Spiritual Sacrifices To God.
