God’s giving of the commandments will be one of the readings we’ll hone in on as we consider the “why” and “how” of obedience for us as Kingdom People. It’s not that difficult to understand but where we tend to get in trouble is with the misunderstanding of the purpose of the Commandments and how Christianity tends to be viewed through the lens of God’s Law.
