Aubrey Zoli is the Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society, and through her work is leading the challenge for the annual 'Making Strides Against Breast Cancer' walk. It takes place at Seattle's Gas Works Park, the morning of Saturday October 21. October is breast cancer awareness month, and this non-competitive walk around a beautiful part of the city is a great way to shine the spotlight on this major health issue. There will be booths for education, and an opportunity to honor the Survivors. Of utmost important is the fund-raising component; the dollars raised support research and programs, such as providing rides to appointments for women with certain challenges, and valuable reminders to schedule that annual mammogram.
