(10.10.2021) Reconnecting to the Head (Part 2)

Today, Bishop Rodgers continues the series "Reconnecting to the Head" from Colossians 1:18-20. As believers, we can have peace with God and be reconciled to Him by accepting Christ. This requires us to "Grow Up." Maturity is truth joined with love. Truth without love is brutal. Maturity leads to cooperation. As members of the "One Body" and a local body, we belong to each other. We affect and need each other. An isolated Christian cannot minister to others, nor can others minister to them. It is impossible for the gifts to flow either way. Every member of the church should contribute something to the prosperity of the whole. Every member in the church should keep his/her place. If the parts don't function as designed, there is deformity or disorder. A body is only healthy and efficient when every part is thoroughly coordinated.
