Tony Sands was an outstanding running back at National Power St. Thomas Aquinas High School in the late 1980's. He went on to star at Kansas and take home Big 8 offensive player of the year in 1991, and play for the Arizona Cardinals. Tony today works heavily with youth sports and joins After Hours to talk about how NIL has changed high school and college football. Tony also discusses the reality of football in the midst of the NFL doing all it can to be safe; in the end Tony talks about the bases of football. Just how safe can football actually be?!
