10.12: Jesus is the Power and Wisdom of God: It's Yours for the Asking!

Power and wisdom — those are two things that we  all want! They work together. We can have the power to make decisions,  but without wisdom, we make foolish ones. We can have all the wisdom in  the world, but if we abuse our power, that also leads to destruction.  Today we start a study through Paul’s first letter to the church in  Corinth. Corinth was plagued with sexual immorality. That’s a problem in our  world today, so this should be helpful. Paul spent a lot of time there.  However, once he left, they started going back to their old ways. Instead of the church influencing the world, the world influenced the church.
